We provide a range of services especially tailored to the needs of your organisation.
Services we provide
- Disability Awareness training
- Disability Discrimination Act training
- Free Walk-Through Access advice for existing premises
- Access information for planning new premises or adaptations
- Training is tailored to individual needs and can be delivered to large or small groups. Minimum of 2 hours required, half-days or full days recommended. Training is delivered by local people with a disability. Cost from around £50 -£300 depending on requirements. Costs waived for unfunded groups or exchanged for other services.
- Access visits can be made to assess compliance with DDA. General advice and information, customers make their own notes. Guidance for further advice and follow-up visits possible.
- We provide a 'Disability Aware' Charter-Mark style symbol of recognition via the Stockport Disability Forum, This is awarded to services providers that have consulted fully on disability and access issues.
