- Do you feel intimidated by bureaucracy and filling in forms?
- Do you want someone to help you voice your wishes?
Disability Stockport's Advocacy Service may be able to help.
An Advocate will:
- LISTEN TO YOU and help you to work out what you need
- Advise you of services available
- Support you when making a formal complaint
- Help you put across your point of view
- Help you feel in control
- If we can't help, we will find you someone who can
Self-Advocacy Forum
The self advocacy forum is held on the third Monday of every month between 7.00pm and 9.00pm at Walthew House, Eyeline, Shaw Heath, Stockport.
